Privacy Policy
Fish Clicker · iChar Games · last updated: 8 September 2026
In short: your game is saved on your device only and is never sent anywhere. No accounts, no sign-up, no servers of ours, no advertising and no analytics. The app makes no network request at all: it works the same in airplane mode.
1. Who is the data controller
Charly Ruiz-Molero Martín, an individual resident in Spain, who develops and publishes the Fish Clicker app under the registered trademark iChar Games. "iChar Games" is a trading name, not a company.

2. What the app stores
Fish Clicker stores your progress and settings only in your device's local storage. That means:
- game progress: coins, level, experience, fish you own, breedings in progress and trophies;
- your preferences: language, volume, music mute, vibration, thousands separator and fish size.
This information is never transmitted to us or to third parties, is not backed up to any cloud, and is not tied to your identity. Deleting the app deletes it.
The app requires no sign-up or account. It does not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera or location, and it makes no network requests of its own.
3. No advertising and no network
As of version 1.0.5, Fish Clicker shows no ads at all and bundles no advertising SDK. It also makes no network request of its own: the game works the same in airplane mode.
As a result, the device advertising identifier (IDFA) is not used, no profile is built, and the app never shows the iOS tracking permission prompt, because there is nothing to track.
The six reward buttons that used to ask for a video are still there, but they now grant the boost directly when you tap them.
Versions 1.0.4 and earlier. Up to that version the game did offer optional rewarded ads, served by Unity LevelPlay (ironSource mediation, part of Unity Technologies). They were always voluntary —they only appeared if you tapped to watch one— and were configured as non-personalised, with the COPPA signal set and without using the IDFA. If you are still on one of those versions, how that provider processed data is described in the Unity Technologies privacy policy. Updating removes that SDK from your device.
4. What we do NOT do
| Accounts or sign-up | None exist. |
|---|---|
| Our own servers | We have none. The app never uploads your game. |
| Analytics | No analytics SDK is integrated. |
| Advertising | None. No ad SDK as of version 1.0.5. |
| In-app purchases | None. The app is free and sells nothing. |
| Selling data | We do not sell or share personal data. |
| Social networks | No integration with any. |
5. Children
Fish Clicker is made for everyone, children included. With no advertising, no accounts and no network, there is no data to collect from anyone, so there is no need to ask for an age or to treat some users differently from others.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child in your care has provided data in some way, write to us and we will sort it out.
6. Legal basis and your rights (GDPR)
The app does not process personal data: it does not collect it, send it or receive it. With no processing, there is no legal basis to declare and no consent to ask for.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability. In our case this is immediate: we hold no data about you, so uninstalling the app removes everything that exists.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency or to your local supervisory authority.
7. Retention
We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. Data on your device stays there until you uninstall the app.
8. Changes to this policy
If what the app does changes — for example if advertising or analytics were ever added — we will update this page and the date in the header. It is worth re-reading after a major update.
