Privacy Policy

Tap Square · iChar Games · last updated: 8 September 2026

In short: Tap Square collects no data. There is no advertising, no purchases, no accounts and no analytics. The app never connects to the internet: your two best scores are stored on your device and never leave it.

1. Who is the data controller

Charly Ruiz-Molero Martín, an individual resident in Spain, who develops and publishes the Tap Square app under the registered trademark iChar Games. "iChar Games" is a trading name, not a company.

2. What the app stores

Tap Square stores two numbers in your device's local storage:

That is all. No identifier is stored, no device information, nothing that could recognise you. That information is never transmitted to us or to third parties, is not copied to any cloud and is not linked to your identity. Uninstalling the app removes it.

The app requires no sign-up or account, asks for no system permissions, and does not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera or location.

3. No advertising and no network

Tap Square shows no advertising of any kind and contains no advertising SDK. It also makes no network requests at all: the game works exactly the same with the phone in airplane mode.

As a result, the device advertising identifier (IDFA) is not used, no profile is built, and the app never shows the iOS tracking permission prompt, because there is nothing to track.

4. What we do NOT do

AdvertisingNone. No rewarded video, no banners, no interstitials.
Accounts or sign-upDo not exist.
Our own serversWe have none. The app sends nothing anywhere.
AnalyticsNo analytics SDK is included.
In-app purchasesNone. The app is free and sells nothing.
Selling dataThere is no data to sell.
Social networksNo integration with any.
System permissionsThe app requests none.

5. Children

Tap Square is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data, processes no identifiers and shows no advertising, none of the usual questions about children arise: there is nothing to collect, from children or from adults.

6. Legal basis and your rights (GDPR)

No personal data is processed, so there is no legal basis to invoke: the app falls outside the material scope of the Regulation.

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability. In our case exercising them is immediate and requires no email to us: we hold no data about you, so uninstalling the app deletes everything that exists.

If you still believe a request has not been handled properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

7. Retention

We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. The two scores stay on the device until you uninstall the app.

8. Changes to this policy

If the app ever starts doing something different — advertising, analytics or purchases, for example — we will update this page and the date in the header before releasing that version.
