Robobit · iChar Games · last updated: 7 September 2026

In short. Robobit stores your save on your device and also uploads a copy to the cloud so you do not lose it when you change phones. To do that the game creates an anonymous account, which asks for neither your name nor your email. There is a public leaderboard showing a name and your combat power, and there are in-app purchases charged by Apple. There is no advertising, no analytics and no cross-app tracking, and the game requests no system permissions. You can delete your account from inside the game (section 10).

1. Who is the controller

Charly Ruiz-Molero Martín, a natural person resident in Spain, who develops and publishes the Robobit app under the registered trademark iChar Games. "iChar Games" is a trade name, not a company.

2. What the game stores on your device

Robobit stores the whole save in the app's private storage on your device. It is about sixty files, and this is everything they contain:

The files are signed so tampering can be detected. That signature is an anti-cheat measure: it identifies nobody and does not leave the device on its own.

3. What is copied to the cloud

So you do not lose your save when you change phones, the game keeps a copy in Unity Cloud Save, a Unity Technologies service. What is uploaded is exactly what section 2 describes, compressed into a single bundle, plus a short summary —planet level, highest sector, save date and file count— used to tell which of the two copies is the newer one without downloading the other.

When it is uploaded: when you send the game to the background, and only if the save is not behind the one already in the cloud. Nothing else is uploaded: not while you play, not when you open the game.

The copy is tied to your game account, not to you. It contains no real name, no email address, no phone number, no location and no contacts: it contains your save. The only identifier attached to it is that of your anonymous account, explained in the next section.

4. Your account

The anonymous account

The first time you open the game while online, Robobit creates an anonymous account in Unity Authentication. You are asked for nothing: no email, no password, no name. What is generated is a player identifier, a string of letters and numbers whose only purpose is to know whose save is whose. It is the identifier shown under Settings → Configuration, with a button to copy it into a support email.

Under the GDPR that identifier is personal data even though it carries no name, because it lets you be told apart from other people. That is why it is described here and why it is deleted when you delete your account.

The anonymous session lives on that device. If you lose it or wipe it without having linked the save to Apple, there is no way to prove the save was yours and it cannot be recovered.

Sign in with Apple

Linking your save with Sign in with Apple is optional and serves one purpose: recovering your save on another device. When you use it:

5. The leaderboard

Robobit has a public leaderboard by combat power. What is sent to the server is a number: the power of the team you have selected, the same one already shown on your own screen. It is sent when you open the leaderboard screen and when you send the game to the background.

What other people see in that list is:

About the name. The service assigns everyone an automatically generated name made of English words (for example AttentiveSpottedOboe). You did not write that one and it says nothing about you. You can change it for one of your own under Settings → Configuration: the first change is free and later ones cost in-game currency. If you change it, whatever you write will be visible to anyone who opens the leaderboard, so do not use your real name, your email, your age, your town or any other detail that identifies you. A name you choose is public, voluntary content.

6. In-app purchases

Robobit sells packs of in-game currency and resources, and two season passes. Payment is handled entirely by Apple, using the details it already holds for your App Store account: we never see or receive your card, your address, your name or your billing email.

What the game receives from a purchase is:

As part of the save, that record travels to the cloud like everything else (section 3). The tax and accounting obligations of the sale are met by Apple as the seller.

7. Reporting and blocking a name

On the leaderboard you can report another player's name. When you do, that name stops being shown to you immediately and "Nombre oculto" (hidden name) appears instead. The block is stored on your device, with that player's identifier, the name they were using and the date.

Today that report is not sent to any server: it is kept so it can be sent once server-side moderation exists. If you want us to review a name, write to soporte@ichargames.com and we will look at it.

8. What the game does NOT do

AdvertisingNone. No ad network, no ads, no banners.
TrackingThe advertising identifier (IDFA) is not used and your activity in other apps or websites is not tracked. That is also why the game never shows the iOS tracking prompt: it does not need it.
AnalyticsNo analytics SDK is integrated or enabled.
Crash reportingDisabled.
System permissionsNone. No camera, microphone, location, photos, contacts or remote notifications are requested.
Selling dataWe do not sell or share personal data with anyone.
Social networksNo integration with any.
ChatNone. The only thing one person writes and another can read is the leaderboard name.

9. Who processes data for us, and where

Unity Technologies Provides the anonymous account (Authentication), the save copy (Cloud Save) and the leaderboard (Leaderboards). Acts as a processor. Its servers are in the European Union and the United States, under the international transfer safeguards Unity states in its policy. Unity privacy policy.
Apple Processes in-app purchases and, if you use it, Sign in with Apple. Acts as an independent controller of payment data and of your Apple Account. Apple privacy policy.

10. How to delete your account and everything in it

It is done from inside the game, with no email and no waiting:

  1. open Ajustes (Settings) from the main screen;
  2. go to the Configuración (Configuration) tab;
  3. scroll to Tu cuenta (Your account) and tap "Borrar la cuenta" (Delete account);
  4. read the warning and type DeLeTe exactly, with those capitals;
  5. tap "Borrar la cuenta" and confirm.

At that point, and in this order:

If something fails halfway, the save on your device is left untouched and the screen tells you so. Deletion cannot be undone and does not refund purchases: refunds are handled by Apple.

The leaderboard row, and what we do about it. The leaderboard service does not allow an entry to be deleted from the app, so your row —with whatever name you had set and your power— may keep appearing in the list after you delete your account. Nobody will be able to sign back into that account or update that row. If you want it removed, write to soporte@ichargames.com telling us the name you used or your player identifier, and we will remove it by hand.

11. Children

Robobit is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from people of that age. The game has accounts, in-app purchases and a public list showing a name, and those three things call for judgement a young child should not be asked to exercise.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child in your care has created an account, write to us and we will delete it; or delete it yourself using the procedure in section 10, which needs no action from us. Remember too that in-app purchases can be turned off, or made to require approval, through iOS Screen Time and Family Sharing.

12. Legal basis and your rights (GDPR)

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability. Erasure you can exercise yourself, at any time and without asking us, using the procedure in section 10. For anything else write to soporte@ichargames.com; we will ask for the player identifier shown under Settings → Configuration, because it is the only thing that lets us know which save is yours.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

13. Retention

The cloud save and the account are kept for as long as the account exists: there is no automatic deletion for inactivity, because coming back after months and finding your save is exactly what the copy is for. When you delete the account, everything described in section 10 is removed, with the leaderboard-row caveat explained there. Whatever remains on your device disappears when you uninstall the game.

14. Changes to this policy

If what the game does changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. It is worth reading again after a big update.

15. Contact

soporte@ichargames.com. We answer in English and Spanish.

The app itself is available in Spanish only.
